Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) values staff as the most important asset and believes that a happy working environment will strengthen employees’ sense of belonging. This year, Hopewell firstly joined “Happiness-at-Work Promotional Scheme 2018” organized by the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), and received “Happy Company” Label in recognition of the Group’s contribution in creating a happy workplace.

| Hopewell Arranged “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme – Golf Experiential Day” | | | 21 Apr 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) collaborated with St. James’ Settlement organizing “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme – Golf Experiential Day”. 52 students from The Methodist Church, Hong Kong Asbury Methodist Primary School and the children of Hopewell’s staff joined the activity.
Participants learnt basic golf techniques such as holding golf grip, standing position and swing posture in order to build up their concentration and patience. Through group activity, it helped build trust between the junior volunteers and students. |
| Hopewell Supported Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2018 Again | | | 25 Mar 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support the Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2018 held on Saturday, 25 March 2018 at Tai Tong, Yuen Long. This event organized by the Hong Kong Tree Planting Day Organizing Committee is the largest annual tree planting event in Hong Kong. It aims to promote green Hong Kong and raise public awareness on environmental protection, hill fire prevention and tree preservation.
37 HH Social Club volunteers comprising Hopewell staff, their families and friends, joined together with over 1,700 volunteers from various government departments, organizations and companies to take part in planting tree seedlings, planted around 8,000 tree seedlings of various species at the assigned tree planting area in Tai Tong to build a greener environment. |
| Hopewell Organized “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme – Horse Riding Day” | | | 17 Mar 2018
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) collaborated with St. James’ Settlement for the 3th conservative year in co-organizing “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme”. The first activity of this year was the Horse Riding Day at Yuen Long International Riding Centre. 54 students from The Methodist Church, Hong Kong Asbury Methodist Primary School and the children of Hopewell’s staff joined the activity to experience horse riding and learn the basic techniques. They also visited horse stable to know more about the living habits of horses. |
