Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported Dress Special Day organized by the Community Chest. By making a donation of HK$60 or more, staff can go to work in casual wear on the event day. Totally 211 staff from 19 business units / departments joined this campaign.
All individuals, companies and organizations, government departments and educational institutions are welcome to join Dress Special Day. All donations raised through this campaign will be allocated to benefit the 156 member social welfare agencies supported by the Community Chest. |
| Hopewell Supports Red Décor Day | | | 16 Aug 2013
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) again supported the Red Décor Day fundraising campaign organized by Hong Kong Red Cross. The theme of the campaign this year is “Love Red Décor”. Every employee donated HK$30 or above could dress or wear accessories in RED on the event day and join the photo competition. Totally 216 employees joined this campaign and proceeds raised is used for better planning of HKRC long-term humanitarian works.
The Red Décor Day is a fundraising campaign of the Hong Kong Red Cross first held in 2009. The Campaign is the commemoration of the Four Geneva Conventions being adopted on 12 August 1949. It confers neutrality to Red Cross to deliver humanitarian services around the world. |
| Hopewell Awarded Caring Organization for Retired Athletes by Hong Kong Athletes Career & Education Programme Office | | | 06 Aug 2013
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) is committed to fulfilling corporate social responsibilities on youth development and sports, arts and culture. Hopewell recruited two retired athletes to support and sponsor Hong Kong Athletes Career & Education Programme, and awarded Caring Organization for Retired Athletes by Hong Kong Athletes Career & Education Programme office as recognition of its supports.
The programme aims to provide better planning for athletes before athletic retirement and entitlement of post-athletic career support through the introduction of athletics’ post-athletic career development plan. |

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) establishes a long term commitment to the Community Chest and gives ongoing support to its various charity activities over the years. In the 2012/2013 Annual Presentation of Awards Ceremony, Hopewell received "President's Award".
The Community Chest also presented the “Outstanding Walk Team Award” during the 2012/13 Walks for Millions to Hopewell and Hopewell Highway Infrastructure Limited in the 2012/2013 Walks for Millions Cheque & Award Presentation Ceremony to acknowledge the participation of 154 employees and their friends and relatives. |
