| Hopewell and its Properties Have Been Awarded the "#SayYesToBreastfeeding" Certificate of Appreciation | | | 05 Jul 2023
Hopewell Holdings Limited ("Hopewell") and its properties, Hopewell Centre and Panda Place, have participated in the "#SayYesToBreastfeeding" organized by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF, co-organized by the Health Bureau and the Department of Health for five consecutive years. We have also signed a pledge to promote and support "Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace" and "Breastfeeding Friendly Premises," working together to build a breastfeeding-friendly community. The Group and its properties have been presented with certificates of appreciation by the organizer to commend our support and promotion of breastfeeding-friendly measures.
In addition, we have implemented breastfeeding-friendly measures in our shopping malls, aiming to provide excellent service experiences in accordance with the needs of our customers. |

| Hopewell Shared Festive Joy with Singleton Elderly at Tuen Ng Festival | | | 14 May 2021
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and St. James’ Settlement co-organized the Tuen Ng Volunteer Programme for the eleventh consecutive year, serving over 10,000 singleton elderly since its launch.
This year, HH Social Club volunteers gathered at Hopewell Centre and prepared 100 HH Social Club protective packs. Hopewell donated 1,200 HH Social Club protective packs to the elderly comprising rice dumplings from Panda Hotel, personal hygienic products, daily necessities and emergency card, spreading festive joy to the elderly during the Tuen Ng Festival.
Over 30 HH Social Club volunteers, their families and friends made calls to around 120 elderly in June, taking care of their mental health and living conditions. The volunteers also shared the health tips and raised their awareness on personal hygiene.
Apart from the elderly calls, we also arranged the first virtual visit to extend blessings and warmth to 89-year-old couple in the elderly home. |
| Hopewell Supported Virtual Walk for Millions | | | 31 Jan 2021
This year, in view of the current situation of COVID-19, the Community Chest of Hong Kong has firstly launched a virtual walk to encourage people to maintain their physical and mental health, raising funds for the Chest.
As a long-term supporter of the Community Chest, Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported “Walk for Millions” again, organized by The Community Chest of Hong Kong from 31 January to 14 February. Each participant aims to achieve 10,000 steps in any format at anywhere, anytime without boundaries. After the event, the participant who achieves the task will receive an e-certificate. |
| Hopewell Awarded “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme – Super MD” by ERB | | | 17 Sep 2020
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) received "Super MD (2020-2025)" from the Employees Retraining Board (ERB). Hopewell has been awarded the Manpower Developer 1st (MD 1st) Award for 10 consecutive years in recognition of our outstanding performance on manpower training and development strategies.
The "ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme" was launched by the ERB in December 2009. The scheme aims to promote and cultivate a corporate culture focusing on manpower training and development among organizations, raise the awareness of the employers and employees of the importance of on-the-job training and continuous upgrading and make it to become a common value. |
