Hopewell Supports ELCHK’s "Intership Program 2026" to Help Youth Unleash Potential

Hopewell Holdings Limited ("Hopewell") has always valued youth development, actively creating diverse opportunities for the younger generation to explore their futures and bring positive change to society.
 
This year, we once again supported the "Internship Program 2026" organized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong (ELCHK) Youth Career Development Service. Adopting a "Strength-based Approach" and "Experiential Learning" framework, the program aims to guide Secondary 4 and 5 students to identify their strengths and broaden their career horizons.
 
Internship Highlights:
July (Preparation): Arranged interviews for students, followed by precise role matching by ELCHK based on individual student profiles.
August (Placement): Students completed a 3-to-5-day work placement across Hopewell's business units:
.Panda Hotel: Front Desk Ambassador & Room Attendant
.Panda Place: Customer Service Ambassador
.GARDENEast: Room Attendant
 
During the internship, Hopewell assigned a dedicated departmental mentor to each student, providing professional job guidance and sharing workplace insights to help them smoothly adapt to the work environment. Upon completion, mentors conducted objective performance appraisals, and ELCHK awarded official certificates to recognize the students' efforts and achievements.

Hopewell Holdings Awarded “Super MD” by ERB

In August 2024, the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) hosted the ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme Presentation Ceremony 2024. This year, around 80 organizations were newly accredited as "Manpower Developers", bringing the cumulative total to over 560 organizations across more than 30 industries.
 
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) was first accredited as a "Manpower Developer" in 2020. In recognition of the Group's outstanding achievements in manpower training and development, Hopewell has now been elevated to "Super MD" status, with the accreditation period extended until 2025.
 
Employees as Our Core Asset
Hopewell regards employees as its most valuable asset and is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and healthy workplace. The Group's Human Resources Department regularly organizes training sessions and seminars covering a wide range of topics, including anti-corruption, privacy and confidentiality, information security, and mental health. These initiatives provide colleagues with the latest knowledge while enhancing their well-being.
 
Promoting a Family-Friendly Culture
Hopewell actively fosters a family-friendly work environment that supports work-life balance. Through the "HH Social Club" platform, employees are encouraged to participate in volunteer services and recreational activities, such as Tuen Ng Volunteer Visit, the "Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme", floral arrangement workshops, and harmonious pastel art workshops. These activities strengthen connections among colleagues, nurture a sense of belonging, and provide opportunities for personal enrichment.

 

Hopewell Received Bronze Award in Methodist Centre's Healthy Corporate Award Scheme 2023

This year, for the first time, Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) participated in the Healthy Corporate Award Scheme 2023 organized by the Methodist Centre and was awarded the Bronze Award and the "Healthy Enterprise" logo, recognizing the Group's outstanding performance in enhancing employee health, promoting healthy work, and cultivating a health-oriented culture over the past year.
 
The Healthy Corporate Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on February 1st, with over 60 companies or organizations receiving the "Healthy Enterprise" or "Healthy Organization" designation.
 
By participating in the Healthy Corporate Award Scheme 2023, Hopewell has demonstrated its commitment to the health and well-being of its employees. The Group is dedicated to providing a healthy work environment, encouraging employee participation in various health activities, and fostering a culture that promotes healthy lifestyles. Through continued collaboration with the Methodist Centre and other NGOs, the Group aims to further enhance employee health and create a healthier, more positive, and vibrant work environment.
 

Hopewell Received Good MPF Employer Award and MPF Support Award

Hopewell Holdings Limited has been awarded the " Good MPF Employer Award" and received the "MPF Support Award." This recognition by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority commends Hopewell for actively fulfilling its legal responsibilities and providing better retirement benefits to its employees, as well as for its dedication to safeguarding and enhancing employee retirement benefits.

Hopewell Received “Privacy-Friendly Awards 2023” Bronze Award

Hopewell Holdings Limited was awarded Bronze Award of “Privacy-Friendly Awards 2023” by The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data. This award recognizes the Group's commitment and performance in safeguarding personal data privacy.

The award, themed “Embrace Privacy Management Programme to Gain Trust and Benefits” was carefully considered and assessed by the judging panel. A total of 138 organizations received awards, including 8 organizations that received the Outstanding Gold Awards, 80 organizations that received the Gold Awards, 33 organizations that received the Silver Awards, and 17 organizations that received the Bronze Awards.
