| Hopewell Supported WWF Earth Hour for 11th year | | | 27 Mar 2021
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported Earth Hour ogranised by WWF-Hong Kong for the 11th year. The major properties of the Group, including Hopewell Centre, and Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre switched off exterior decorative lights or non-essential lights for an hour on the night of 27 March.
This year, Earth Hour spotlights the planet’s oceans and encourages communities worldwide to rethink their relationship with nature, urging everyone to put sustainability first and adopt zero-carbon lifestyles. In Hong Kong, nearly 4,000 companies, organisations and buildings supported Earth Hour 2021 lights out. |

The programme aims to encourage participants to adopt a low-carbon lifestyle. All donations received is allocated to support “green related projects” provided by the Chest's member agencies.

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support WWF Earth Hour in Hong Kong by turning off exterior decorative lights of six major properties of the Group for an hour, including Hopewell Centre, QRE Plaza, GARDENEast, E-Max, Panda Hotel and Panda Place, on 30 March 2019 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. |
| Hopewell Supported Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2019 Again | | | 23 Mar 2019
Hopewell Holdings Limited ("Hopewell") participated in “Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2019” organised by the Hong Kong Tree Planting Day Organizing Committee for the sixth consecutive year. The event is taken placed at Lions Nature Education Centre in Sai Kung on 23 March 2019.
15 volunteers including Hopewell employees, their families and friends collaborated with 2,100 volunteers from various government departments, organizations and companies to plant around 6,000 tree seedlings for greening the environment. They also raised awareness of nature conservation and hill fire prevention through this event. |
| Hopewell Continued to Support Lai See Packets Reuse and Recycling Programme | | | 12 Feb 2019
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported “Lai See Packets Reuse and Recycling Programme” organised by the Greeners Action. Lai Sees Collection Boxes are placed at Hopewell Centre, E-Max, Panda Place and GARDENEast between 12 and 26 February to collect packets from the public and staff members. The packets will be handed over to the Greeners Action to handle and process for reuse.
