Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) sponsored “Walk for Nature 2013” fundraising event held by WWF Hong Kong on 9 November 2013 to strengthen the engagement of the staff on the environmental protection.
The event allowed staff to discover and explore the natural beauty of Mai Po, experienced the joy of bird watching, learned about the importance of freshwater, wetlands and “gei wai” and increased their awareness on the damage of human activities to ecosystem. Totally 29 staff and their family members participated this event and completed the 4 km route. |

Hopewell Centre and Wu Chung House of Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) participated Yan Oi Tong Plastic Recycling Partnership Scheme 2012. Last year, Hopewell Centre and Wu Chung House collected 5,624 kg and 3,986 kg respectively of plastic waste and received first class and merit award from Yan Oi Tong.
The scheme encourages public participation and recognizes the contribution of enterprises in plastics recycling with a view to raise public and enterprise awareness and enhance environmental education. |

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) involves to “Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (GOALS)” held by World Green Organisation to drive towards energy saving and a low carbon office.
The 2-month scheme held in July to August. Participants awarded “GOALS” certificate need to fulfill 25 -30 assessment criteria on energy saving and green procurement etc. |
