| Hopewell was Awarded Certificate of Appreciation in the 6th Friends of EcoPark | | | 01 Nov 2016
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and GARDENEast Management Limited have been awarded Certificate of Appreciation in the 6th Friends of EcoPark from the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) in recognition of our support for EcoPark tenants and to encourage further collaboration to enhance the local recycling industry.
Launched by the EPD in 2010, the Friends of EcoPark scheme aims to help EcoPark tenants extend their waste sourcing and collection network and promote their recycled products by fostering partnership between the private and public sectors and EcoPark tenants. The number of participating companies and organisations has been increasing, and the awarded companies and organisations comprise a wide range of businesses in sectors including hotels, catering, engineering, logistics, retail, cleansing and property management, as well as a number of organisations from the public sector. |
| Hopewell Organized T·PARK Tour for Employees | | | 22 Jul 2016
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) launched the Go Green Workplace campaign which aimed to promote environmental awareness of employees. We arranged a tour to Hong Kong's first sludge treatment facility T·PARK in Tuen Mun for our employees, to experience Hong Kong's waste-to-energy journey. They learned more about the sludge treatment process through visiting a range of innovative and interactive exhibits at T·HALL and viewing the operations of the facility at T·GALLERY.
Located at Tsang Tsui, Tuen Mun, T·PARK is one of the most technologically advanced facilities of its kind in the world. It combines a variety of advanced technologies into a single complex, bringing together sludge incinerators, with power generation, desalination, educational and ecological facilities. |

The programme aims to spread the message of “Act Green and Live Green” and encourage a green lifestyle. All donations received is allocated to support “Medical and Health Services” provided by the Chest's member agencies. |
| Panda Place Management Limited Received Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards – EcoPartner | | | 02 Jun 2016
Panda Place Management Limited of Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) was awarded Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2015 – EcoPartner at Launching Ceremony of BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2016 in recognition of their supports and efforts in environmental protection.
The Awards was co-organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, aimed to encourage and recognize enterprises of manufacturing and services sectors operating in the pan PRD region for their improved environmental performance.
It received a total of 451 submissions from companies in the manufacturing and services sectors operating in the pan Pearl River Delta (PRD) region to showcase their environmental endeavours. Among the companies presented with certificates of EcoChallenger (for the completion of three environmental projects or more) and EcoPartner (for the completion of one or two environmental projects). |
| Hopewell and Ten Subsidiaries Awarded in the Caring Company Logo | | | 10 May 2016
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) and ten of its subsidiaries have been awarded the Caring Company Logo 2016/2017 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of our continuous commitment to the community, the employees and the environment.
Among these, Hopewell Holdings Limited, Hopewell Highway Infrastructure Limited, Hopewell Real Estate Agency Limited, Hopewell Property Management Co., Limited, Hopewell Centre Management Limited, KITEC Management Limited, Panda Place Management Limited and IT Catering & Services Limited have received the honours for more than five consecutive years, which is the largest number of ‘5 Years Plus Caring Company Logo’ garnered by Hopewell at any one time. Panda Hotel has been awarded the honour for more than ten consecutive years and received the accolade of ‘10 Years Plus Caring Company Logo’. |
