| Hopewell Holdings once again supported Hong Kong Tree Planting Day 2023 | | | 29 Apr 2023
Hopewell Holdings Limited ("Hopewell") participated for the seventh year in the "Hong Kong Tree Planting Day" organized by Concerted Efforts Resource Centre. The event took place on 29 April 2023 at the Dai Tong Tse Road in Yuen Long. On the day of the event, a total of 2,100 volunteers, including 8 volunteers from Hopewell’s employees and their friends and family, various organizations, groups, government departments, and 900 volunteers from the People's Liberation Army, came together to plant 8,000 tree seedlings, making a collective effort for the environment. |
| Hopewell Sponsored "Red Cross City Challenge 2023" | | | 04 Mar 2023
Hopewell sponsored the "Red Cross City Challenge 2023．Act Out Humanity with LINE FRIENDS” again organized by the Hong Kong Red Cross from March 3rd to 5th, 2023. As a caring corporate partner, Hopewell was designated as one of the "checkpoints" in the event with the support of Hopewell Centre.
This year, the theme of the Challenge was "Search and Rescue" and invited global creative studio IPX (formerly known as LINE FRIENDS)’s original iconic IP - LINE FRIENDS, to participate in the event, leading participants to put humanitarian spirit into action. Hopewell also sent four corporate teams on 4 March, wandering around Central, Sheung Wan, Wan Chai, and Causeway Bay, experiencing the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. |
| Hopewell Cared for the Mental Health of Students and Held an Expressive Arts Fun Day | | | 17 Dec 2022
Hopewell co-organized the "Hopewell Junior Volunteers program” with St. James' Settlement for the seventh consecutive year. The program was successfully completed in December, including the "Nature x Mindfulness Workshop," a half-day tour to Shing Mun Reservoir, an Expressive Arts Fun Day, and an Expressive Arts Exhibition, which aimed to improve the physical and mental health of primary school students from grassroots communities by introducing them to nature or art creation.
The Expressive Arts Fun Day was held on December 17, 2022, allowing volunteers to enter the community and create art together with students and parents from the Holy Cross Lutheran School. Participants took part in drama activities, explored their inner needs, recognized their own emotions, and were encouraged to express their feelings, thus sharing the burden of stress through art. |

Hopewell Holdings Limited ("Hopewell") has once again participated in the biennial "Social Capital Builder Awards" program and has been awarded the "Social Capital Builder Logo Award" by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and its Community Investment and Inclusion Fund. This award recognizes and commends the Group's outstanding contributions to the development of social capital in Hong Kong, its spirit of mutual assistance, timely support for the needs of citizens, and its infusion of warmth into the community.
The Social Capital Builder Awards Ceremony was successfully held on 14 December 2022, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year, a total of 542 companies and organizations were awarded the Social Capital Builder Logo Award. Additionally, seven funding programs received the " Outstanding Social Capital Project Awards," and eight organizations, businesses, or individuals received the " Outstanding Social Capital Partnership Awards." |
| Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme Organized Expressive Arts Exhibition | | | 08 Dec 2022
Hopewell Holdings Limited ("Hopewell") and St. James' Settlement have jointly organized the “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme” for the seventh consecutive year. The program held six sessions of "Expressive Arts Therapy Experience Workshop" from October 15, allowing 48 students from the C.C.C Chuen Yuen First Primary School and Holy Cross Lutheran School in primary 4 to 6 to improve their mental health through art creation.
In addition, selected artwork were exhibited at Panda Place, a subsidiary of Hopewell, from December 8th to 11th, to allow the public to understand the program and share the students' achievements, enhancing their confidence. The schools also organized tours during the exhibition period, allowing students to showcase their creativity with their friends and families and providing opportunities for mutual communication between teachers and students. |
