Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continues to support “Skip Lunch Day” organized by the Community Chest to encourage the employees to donate their lunch fees to help the “Services for Street Sleepers, Residents in Cage Homes and Cubicles” supported by the Community Chest. By making a donation of HK$35 or more, each donor will receive a Skip Lunch Day Coupon as a token of appreciation.

| Hopewell Sponsors “Happy Family Poon Choi Feast” Gift Packs for the Elderly for the Third Consecutive Year | | | 31 Jan 2015
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported “Happy Family Poon Choi Feast” held at Southorn Playground for the third consecutive year by giving 2,000 sets of HH Social Club gift packs for the senior citizens and residents of Wan Chai who attended the event. The gift packs contained 5 useful daily care items, such as tooth brush set, Vaseline, white flower embrocation, alcohol-based hand sanitizer and hand cream.
“Happy Family Poon Choi Feast” was co-organised by the Community Building Committee of Wan Chai District Council, St. James’ Settlement and Wan Chai Methodist Centre for the Seniors. |
| Hopewell Participates Love Teeth Day for the Fourth Consecutive Year | | | 28 Jan 2015
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) participated Love Teeth Day jointly organised by The Community Chest of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Dental Association and Oral Health Education Unit of the Department of Health for the fourth consecutive year to love and take care of teeth whilst showing care to those in need.
Employees received a "Love Teeth Day Pack" with oral care products for any donations of HK$42 or above. Donations received enhance "Oral Health Services for the Needy" provided by the Chest's member social welfare agencies without any deduction. |
| Hopewell Continued to Support Walk for Millions | | | 11 Jan 2015
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support “Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk” this year. On the morning of 11 Jan, Mr. Thomas Wu, Managing Director of Hopewell Holdings Limited and around 130 employees and their families set off from Hong Kong Stadium to finish the 10-km walkathon to Aberdeen Country Park. Panda Hotel prepared a lunch at the destination to thank for our participating staff. The organizer also gave certificate of appreciation to every participant who completed the walk.
“Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk” aims to raise fund for "Family and Child Welfare Services", to maintain and strengthen family bonding and to assist the family members establishing mutual support. In addition to the company’s donation, Hopewell also matched the staff donations dollar-for-dollar. |

This year, Hopewell received “Bronze Award (Volunteer Category)” and “Corporate Citizenship Logo (Enterprise Category)” at the award ceremony of “The 5th Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” in recognition of our continued efforts on sustainability.
“Hong Kong Corporate Citizenship Program” is co-organised by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE). The Program aims to raise public awareness towards corporate citizenship by organizing a series of activities, encourage corporate to fulfill social responsibilities and integrate citizenship concept into business model and operation, and ultimately promote sustainability of economy, society and environment. |
