Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) supported “Happy Family Poon Choi Feast” held at Southorn Playground for the fourth consecutive year by sponsoring 1,530 sets of HH Social Club gift packs for the senior citizens and residents of Wan Chai who attended the event. The gift packs contained 5 useful daily care items, such as tooth brush set, Vaseline, white flower embrocation, alcohol-based hand sanitizer and hand cream.
“Happy Family Poon Choi Feast” was co-organized by the Community Building Committee of Wan Chai District Council, Wan Chai Methodist Centre for the Seniors and St. James’ Settlement Wan Chai District Elderly Community Centre. It aims to promote family harmony and demonstrate our care to the singleton elderly and the socially withdrawn elderly. |

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support “Skip Lunch Day” organized by the Community Chest of Hong Kong to encourage the employees to donate their lunch fees to help the “Services for Street Sleepers, Residents in Cage Homes and Cubicles” supported by the Community Chest of Hong Kong. By making a donation of HK$35 or more, each donor will receive a Skip Lunch Day Coupon as a token of appreciation. |

Starting from February 2015, Hopewell Real Estate Agency Limited devotes to support iBakery, the social enterprise of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. We provided venue sponsorship to iBakery for opening pop up store at Hopewell Centre in Wan Chai and Panda Place in Tsuen Wan. |

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) formed one 2-member Hopewell Social Club team to take part in TWGHs “iRun” – Hong Kong Jockey Club Special Marathon 2016. This charity run organized by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals was held at the Central and Western District Promenade on Sunday, 31 January 2016. Hopewell team and athletes with intellectual disabilities turned out to compete 3km in the iRun, promoting the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals organized “iRun – Hong Kong Special Marathon” since 2011, promoting the healthy lifestyle and the active sport participation of the people with intellectual disabilities and to advocate the message of community inclusion as well. |

Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) continued to support “Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk” held on 10 Jan. About 110 employees and their families set off from Hong Kong Stadium to finish the 10-km walkathon to Aberdeen Country Park. Every participant who completed the walk received a certificate of appreciation from the Community Chest. Panda Hotel also prepared a lunch at the destination to thank for our participating staff.
"Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk" aims to raise fund for "Family and Child Welfare Services", to maintain and strengthen family bonding and to assist the family members establishing mutual support. In addition to the company’s donation, Hopewell also matched the staff donations dollar-for-dollar. |
