| Hopewell Holdings Limited Spread Love to More than 1,000 Elderly at Tuen Ng Festival | | | 01 Jun 2019
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) joined hands with St. James’ Settlement (“SJS”) to co-organize the Tuen Ng Volunteer Programme for the ninth consecutive year, benefitting over 8,000 singleton elderly since its launch, spreading festive cheer to the elderly during the Tuen Ng Festival.
On 1 June, nearly 40 HH Social Club volunteers, their families and friends participated in the Tuen Ng Volunteer Visit. They gathered at the headquarters of SJS in the morning to prepare gift packs including rice dumplings and daily necessities. They were also trained with essential skills to communicate with the singleton elderly. During home visits, the volunteers shared contact information of SJS and presented the gift packs to around 60 households of singleton elderly living in various districts of Hong Kong (Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Kwun Tong, Kwai Chung and Tsuen Wan).

| Hopewell and St. James' Settlement Joint Hands for Festive Lunch to Celebrate Tuen Ng Festival with the Elderly | | | 18 May 2019
Hopewell Holdings Limited ("Hopewell") and St. James' Settlement jointly organized the Tuen Ng Volunteer Programme again. This year, a festive lunch and wrapping rice dumplings workshop at Xi Shan on 18 May. Around 20 students from St. Francis' Canossian College were recruited to serve nearly 90 singleton elderly alongside around 30 HH Social Club volunteers, bringing different generations closer together. The volunteers divided into groups to take care of the elderly. With the help of the volunteers, the elderly learnt how to wrap the rice dumplings, promoting the culinary heritage of wrapping rice dumplings. After playing interactive games, the volunteers and the elderly enjoyed traditional “dim sum” lunch and rice dumplings together to celebrate the Tuen Ng Festival. |
| Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme 2019 Organized STEM Workshops and Green Tour for Primary Students | | | 11 May 2019
Hopewell Holdings Limited jointly organized “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme 2019 - STEM Workshop”. Around 50 students and volunteers took part in the "memoji DIY workshop" and tour in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Participants learnt the principle of series and parallel circuit by making their personal "memoji" brooch with LED and electric current plate. A tour at the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change was arranged for the participants to enhance their understanding of sustainable environment and green living. The students also enjoyed lunch with the volunteers at the university canteen, building friendship between them.

| Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme 2019 Organized STEM Workshops for Primary Students | | | 27 Apr 2019
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) collaborated with St. James’ Settlement organizing “Hopewell Junior Volunteers Programme 2019 – STEM Workshop. Around 50 students from partner primary schools, over 20 HH Social Club volunteers and their children participated in the first STEM workshop on 27 April. Participants learnt basic coding knowledge and the use of coding languages at Lok Sin Tong Yu Kan Hing Secondary School. They also learnt how to control the CoDrone and a remote control vehicle by applying the coding languages and micro:bit. After the workshop, they visited the aquarium and aquaponics system at the school.

| Hopewell Participated School-Company-Parent Program – JC InnoMind® 2018-19 | | | 29 Mar 2019
Hopewell Holdings Limited (“Hopewell”) joined the School-Company-Parent Program – JC InnoMind® organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Development Council. By matching with a secondary school, the program enables 29 students (Form 4 to Form 5) from St. Francis’ Canossian College to learn from six Company Ambassadors acting as mentors from March to June. Through five workshops and an elective activity, students will understand the commercial world and acquire an entrepreneurial mindset, facilitating career and life planning.
