The Group has formed a 50:50 joint venture project with Sino Land Company Limited which has successfully won the bid for the redevelopment of Lee Tung Street and McGregor Street in Jun 2009, under Hong Kong's urban renewal plan administered by the Urban Renewal Authority ("URA"). The project will comprise about 1,300 residential units (target to be available for pre-sale in 2013 ) and a themed shopping mall. It is located in a prime area which is linked with the Wan Chai MTR Station. Construction commenced in May 2010 and target to be completed by 2015. Currently planned investment for the joint venture in the project is about HK$9 billion.

The project is also expected to bring synergy to HHL's existing properties in Wan Chai including Hopewell Centre, QRE Plaza and GARDENEast, as well as the future Hopewell Centre II.
